First things first, here's a link to my blogging efforts from this week:
My Friday-FOUR
Four pieces of content I've consumed this past week that will influence my future blog material and challenge me to think differently about how I manage CSP - as always, I'm looking to bring you
some business-specific information from outside of the world of fitness. Enjoy:
- Chipotle Reports Its First Ever Quarterly Loss - One MASSIVE health scare (and public
relations nightmare) started a downward spiral that has led to Chipotle's first quarterly loss since going public in 2006. According to this Bloomberg article, it could be as late as 2018 until they recover. This kind of makes you realize that as a gym owner you could be just a single MRSA infection scare away from 18-24 months of desperately trying to clean up your reputation...
- How I Learned To Stop Hating Networking Events - I just returned from The Fitness Summit in Kansas City. As far as I'm concerned, this event is as good a networking opportunity as any fitness professional is going to find. This article will give you some tools for making the most out of any fitness seminar or summit you decide to
attend.
Please make sure to let me know if you come across any great material that you think I'd enjoy. More importantly, have a great weekend!
