- 5 Ways to Get Over Your Fear of Public Speaking - I've had the opportunity to stand in front of some semi-large audiences in recent years and have yet to find a way to entirely eliminate the anxiety that comes with addressing a room full of people. This Harvard Business Review
piece reminded me that this problem will never go away entirely, but that there are some specific useful tools that I can apply to put myself a little more at ease the last time I present. I especially liked the section on being vulnerable.
- KFC Responds to U.K. Chicken Shortage - I've always
been a fan of the edgy approach to social media applied by KFC, and now I can say that I enjoy the work of their advertising agency as well. Check out the visual of the full-page newspaper ad they took out in response to the unfortunate PR crisis they encountered when they ran out of chicken and had to temporarily close roughly 700 locations.
